New students Youth/adults Spring 2025

Course description

This class is for all hight school, youth or adult beginners, it will introduce students to the Arabic alphabet, numbers, conversational, basic grammar and much more. We focus on Egyptian Arabic and common words and phrases. We will meet 1 hour a week over Zoom for 15 weeks. Students will learn to sign the cross, the Lord's prayer, and some other prayers. This class is suitable for those who are brand new to the Arabic language and those who speak a little Arabic. If you are interested in strengthening you Arabic, but already have some basic knowledge, you may want to join the youth/adult level 2 class. Before classes begin, you will receive an email with the Amazon link to purchase the study book and the activity book for this course. Books are sold separately. This class will meet Tuesday evenings at 8:00 PM EST and will be recorded weekly. Recordings will be emailed to students. All class times posted are in Eastern Standard Time (New York/ Toronto) time zone and prices are posted in USD.
